“I can’t believe the change. It’s so good to have energy again after a lifetime of always struggling and feeling exhausted. I feel normal. I am thinking about what I can do now rather than what I can’t! I have been busy and I have deadlines which I met. It feels so good to have energy to get things done”.
This was the dramatic improvement that Alison felt just one week after taking her remedy – at least an 80% improvement she said.
Alison came to see me because her chronic low energy, exhaustion, weakness and fatigue were getting progressively worse. Now, aged 52 she had felt exhausted for most of her life. She had felt this way as far back as she could remember and said it was like only having a 50% energy resource. It meant a daily life of having to take naps, avoiding socialising, unable to do exercise and no hobbies as everything felt like such an effort and she just didn’t have the energy. Even using her brain or thinking was difficult and as time was progressing she was coping less with managing basic tasks.
While she had a diagnosis of Haemochromatosis 8 years previous and only required treatment every 2-3 years, her iron levels where now regarded as normal. Alison said she never felt any improvements back then after giving blood like many others did. Still with no change to date, she and her doctors were still unclear as to why she continued to experience such low energy.
She explained it “like my body is struggling, I can’t push myself, I have to close my eyes and lie down. I try not to give in, but it’s a huge heaviness”.
She would get out bed at 10am and need to go for another nap 5 hours later for a few hours. She never woke up refreshed and the rest of the day she continued to feel exhausted. She just wanted the night to come so she could go back to bed. Weekends meant longer hours of catching up on sleeping.
Because of a weak memory and a foggy mind, she couldn’t concentrate and felt overwhelmed with stress and found making decisions difficult. She was frustrated, cried and had been depressed with not being able to get things done.
The transformation for Alison was quite rapid and she responded beautifully to the remedies chosen.
“It has definitely helped with my energy level. I’m not taking any daytime naps now like I usually did. Normally I’m exhausted in the evening and have to sleep for a few hours.
Before – everything felt like a huge effort, like I was dragging myself around. Everything feels so much easier on the remedy.
I felt more confident and not as worried about everything. Things don’t seem so daunting now – I can handle this, things are manageable.
My thinking is much clearer, it’s less foggy. I’m out of bed earlier now, before I could have slept on.
The stress has reduced and my decision making is better.
I was initially sceptical so I didn’t say to people I had come to see you, so it was amazing that my partner asked me what was going on as he noticed a difference in one week.”
In homeopathy the rate of healing varies for everyone and for Alison this was an incredible turnaround. She came to see me 2 weeks after starting the remedy as I wanted to make sure that we could monitor changes early and make any changes if necessary. Alison also has a history of osteoarthritis, asthma and back pain and our holistic approach to health will also look at these ailments.
Alison is understandably delighted as am I and our treatment will continue until we get her to a place where she feels stable and happy.
