The fear of public speaking, also known as Glossophobia is one of the most debilitating phobias, causing extreme anxiety and often accompanied by physical symptoms that can feel like your body is betraying you.
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, a staggering 75% of the population fear public speaking during their lifetime. That’s a lot of people feeling anxious – 3 out of every 4!
But amidst this apprehension, I’d like to introduce you to Eishle, one of my clients who is no longer included in this statistic!

The paralysing grip of public speaking anxiety
Despite being in a job she loved, behind the scenes, Eishle was stressed and overwhelmed, battling anxiety on a daily basis.
During presentations, her hands would sweat, her voice would shake, and her heart would race. Despite having prepared meticulously for weeks on end, she would freeze and resort to reading her presentation instead.
She’d even learned it word for word, but that didn’t help either.
