As the end of the year approaches, I thought I’d share some recent insights and client cases where Homeopathy has helped women with fertility and hormonal problems.

It’s wonderful to see what homeopathy can do for women in such a short space of time and how it supports them back to good health and happy balanced hormones. A gentle, yet powerful system of medicine that has a wealth of support to offer.

6 Years of Hormonal Migraines Gone in 6 Months

Rachel, aged 29, came to see me for crippling migraines that she’d been having for 6 years.  The migraines were becoming very aggressive recently and she was at a loss on how she could cope with them any longer. Rachel had brain scans, lumbar punctures and the doctors were now recommending Beta Blockers which she didn’t want to take. She wanted a permanent solution that would free her of pain and medication.

• The migraines were rapid in onset with a constant pressure pain and they were so violent, she’d vomit.
• She was sensitive to light and smell and always felt extreme fatigue when they occurred.
• The one relief from the symptoms was taking Sumatriptan, being alone, in darkness and sleeping which she would do for up to 24 hours with an attack, only waking for water and the bathroom.
• She felt very emotional when they happened and would burst into tears as she was unable to get on with her day to day life. She couldn’t work, drive or eat and her appetite diminished.
• The migraines could last for 3 consecutive days or she’d have one every week.
• On one occasion she went to the hospital because the pain was so severe.
• Her doctor changed her contraceptive pill and she trialled a range of different ones, but she always got a migraine during the one-week pill break.
• The migraines would also occur when she was stressed or tired.

Rachel explains how homoeopathy brought the relief she was desperately seeking.

Prolapsed Uterus, 80% Improvement In One Week

What a welcomed relief Homeopathy has been for this client who was suffering from a prolapsed uterus. For 4 years she lived with a heavy dragging sensation that was constantly there. One week after her remedy she improved by  80% and improvement continues! 

• A prolapsed uterus is quite a common and distressing condition many women have to endure.
• Not only can it be uncomfortable but it can have a huge impact imposing many restrictions on a woman’s life.
• It can occur after childbirth, post-menopause, from repetitive lifting of heavyweights, chronic constipation, chronic coughing, obesity, or as part of ageing.
• As the pelvic floor muscles and ligaments become stretched and weakened, they are no longer able to support and keep the uterus in place. This leads to protrusion of the uterus into or out of the vagina.
• Women describe the sensation like a heavy dragging down feeling or as if everything is going to fall out.
• It can lead to a range of other symptoms such as urinary or stress incontinence, urging to pass a stool, constipation, or dull backache.

Successful Treatment for Thrush/Candida and UTI

I see so many women struggling with candida and thrush and it causes so much distress and frustration. By the time these women have come to see me, they have usually tried everything, but nothing has worked long term.

I’d like to share one client’s journey of her experience of how homeopathy successfully helped her get rid of the thrush for good. You can read her full story here but below is a short summary.

“I had a severe case of thrush (candida) and a urinary tract infection that was not clearing up and it was causing me great distress.

I had tried herbal supplements, cutting out all sugars/alcohol from my diet but the symptoms persisted and nothing improved. I went to the doctor for a swab/urine test to check for an infection, but the test results came back clear…..

There are many possible contributors to the overgrowth of candida. Use of hormonal drugs such as the oral contraceptive pills, HRT  and progesterone creams; overuse of antibiotics; having a weakened immune system; poor nutrition, including overconsumption of sugar; being pregnant or menopausal, or having diabetes.
