Silica

Arsenicum

Large painful boils with burning pains, better for warm applications.  The person experiences a lot of anxiety and worry about the condition.

Bathe affected area every few hours with a solution of Hypericum and Calendula Tincture (5 drops of each) to half pint of boiled cooled water. Never squeeze a boil and if it drains, let it do so naturally.

Seek medical help if the boil is accompanied by severe headache, high fever, stiff neck, swollen glands, or if the boil is continuously discharging showing no sign of healing and the infection spreads.
